About
Making Change Possible
Marshwood Community Land Trust launched in 2012 with a vision to build affordable houses for local people.
We have made tremendous progress, In 2016, Bramblehay was completed, a collection of 7 properties in the heart of the village of Marshwood.
Our thanks to the help of members, our local community, Dorset County Council & our housing partner Hastoe.
Today, Our core work lies in promoting many enhancements to our community, facilities and assets.
Please join us by becoming a member and supporting our
efforts to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Our Volunteering initiative has proven to be a powerful tool for Marshwood Community Land Trust to successfully serve our community and improve our local environment.

What is a Community Land Trust
Turning Interest into Action
Community Land Trusts are powerful examples of communities helping themselves.
They are non-profit, community-based organizations run by volunteers that develop housing, workspaces, community facilities or other assets that meet the needs of the community .
Community Land Trusts give ordinary people the means to steward land for local well being; developing and managing homes and other assets which are important to local community.
Over 540 CLTs are now in operation across England and Wales
